THAT the Committee of Adjustment Minutes of November 20, 2018 be adopted as circulated. COA# 43 -2018

THAT WHEREAS the Committee of Adjustment has considered a request from Wilfrid Ross Allen and Lorna Jean Allen (applicants) for a minor variance on Concession 14 Part Lot 17, Geographic Township of Anglesea, located at 188 Skootamatta Lake. AND WHEREAS the applicant proposes install a Class 2 Septic System closer to the highwater mark of Skootamatta Lake than permitted in the Zoning By-Law 0212/2006; AND WHEREAS the proposed Class 2 Septic System will be 25.9 metres (85 feet) from the highwater mark at its closest point; AND WHEREAS the required minimum setback for structures is 30 metres from the highwater mark in accordance with Zoning By-Law 0212/2006; AND WHEREAS there is an existing cottage with no indoor facilities, bunkie, boathouse, outdoor shower and outhouse; AND WHEREAS the property currently served by a leaching pit 11 metres from the highwater mark of Skootamatta Lake; AND WHEREAS there is no permit on file for the current leaching pit and it is too close to the Lake; AND WHEREAS water is drawn from the lake as there is no well; AND WHEREAS there is no hydro service at the property; AND WHEREAS the property is accessed by water only; AND WHEREAS there is a rock ridge located behind the existing cottage and further that any other location would require a pump to pump the grey water uphill; AND WHEREAS the notice of application was provided to the County of Lennox & Addington, KFL&A Public Health, Quinte Conservation and all property owners within 60 metres; AND WH
